uti's, epilepsy, and milica

i have so much to say today!! where should i start? i'll start with UTIs... Tammy, i feel your pain (and my own). owwww!!! who knew i could hate peeing so much?? stupid diseases... i just hope mine doesn't re-occur... so, on friday night, andrew and i spent 2.5 hours in the ER. wasn't as long a night as i had anticipated, but still very tiring, and painful/bloody, with a constant urge to pee. and oh ya, i peed on myself. woohoo. (peeing into a cup isn't easy for a girl!!!) anyway, after thinking we had been forgotten for 2.5 hrs, i finally talked to a doctor, and he finally gave me the prescription i desperately wanted. yay for drugs!!! 'cept these drugs, i can't take with food or dairy products, or be out in the sun for too long. crazy drugs... (and i looked it up... it's a quinolone, which stops the bacterial topoisomerase or smt like that... so it inhibits DNA and therefore reproduction - just in case u were wondering... yes, i'm a geek) ... tammy - it hurts less now, and the cranberry concentrate pills are AMAZING! mmmm.... i didn't try the rice water thing, but andrew's mom said the same thing, only with barley!! weird eh!! anyhow... peeing is better now, i don't dread it and hate it as much.

next item on the list: the epilepsy research gala! Dan took me to this gala, which was ... well, not what i had expected. it was fun tho. and ur friends are cool! wow, daniel has friends?? :P j/k! but ya, they were really cool. they were smart and Val was really really really pretty!! (and that pillow guy Kirk was wow, soooooooooooooooo hot! ... too bad he's married... booo ... and i thought Val and Kirk would make a good couple - cuz they're both uber tall and hot ... anyway) ... the shrimp was good, the rest of the food was ick... sooooo ick... ewwww... and i met burnham, even tho i still think he doesn't know who i am. he's on so many committees... wonder if he knows all the students... anyway, dr.snead wasn't there, dr.gurd wasn't there - no one was there that i knew... other than katherine - our waitress. heheheee... we should've stole this shrimp things from her dan!!!!! it was at the Bata shoe museum, which is perhaps the stupidest museum i've been to. i would definitely not pay to go in! oh ya, and Val won the "testerone" pack or smt in the silent auction ... strange that no one else wanted all 4 seasons of the Trailor Park Boys, plus a T-shirt, plus 15 free skate-sharpenings!! all for $45! score!!

anyway, after the gala, dan dragged us to his friend's bday party. :P anyway, the bday boy (hey, he shares the same bday as matt ... 'cept matt's a lot older, i think) ... anyway, bday boy was sooooooooooooooooo drunk out of his mind! apparently, he ate 3 flowers. just ate them. and when i was introduced to him, i said "happy birthday", and he said "HEEEEEEEY!! IT'S MY BIRTHDAY!! it's MYYYYYYY birthday!!!" ... to which i responded "uh-huh" (i don't like drunk ppl much... unless they're funny and i'm slightly tipsy myself... otherwise, i tend to give them "gebus, get urself together, u're pathetic" looks). anyway. ya. and i re-met Milica there!!! I went to D.A. (junior high) with her - she was in my grade 8 class with Mr.Dykshoorn (sp?). and we talked about old ppl we knew, etc... she hasn't kept in touch with anyone, and the ppl i've kept in touch with, she prolly wouldn't know them (cuz they either left in gr.7, or i just don't see milica hanging out with those chinks...). and we takld about Mu Yang, and our falling out, and her falling out with Sandra. so much for friends-forever. i think i have gr.8 pictures of her dan... maybe i'll scan 'em and send 'em to ya. i doubt she has a copy, so u can send it to her. anyway, she was in band, and was a nerd. she said she competed with Hyung-Oh (biggest nerd of the century), and someone else... maybe she didn't know the other ppl... like Sherry, who was my competition in gr.7 and 8. and i was milica's competition in gr.8 too!!! guess she only remmebers gr.9. i actually think i won stuff in gr.8... i definetely won that pythagorus head in gr.8... and went to math olympics.... i'm gonna shut up now.

time for dimsum!! (yay! it's been an hour since i took drugs - i can eat now!!)
btw, CC or any other nerds out there - why can't i take milk/dairy products with quinolone?!??? does smt in milk sorta "chelate" or chop up quinolone??
