good day!

hewo all! lots has happened since last update, cuz last update was awhile ago. i typed up an update a week ago, but blogger.com didn't wanna work for me... so now it's gone. actually, it's at school on my comp, but i'm at home. lallaaaa... anyhow, ... what's been happening? let's see...

- got visa for china. firstly, chinese consulate line-ups are CRAAAZY!! geez! soooo many ppl wanna go to china! ... it's a great way for them to make money i guess... for the half-assed job that they do!!! seriously, who ever types these things up are s-t-u-p-i-d, and dunno the difference between H and M!! (h&M! hehehee... my fav. store...) anyway, in 2002, they replaced the H in my last name with an M. and this year, the replaced the H in my "middle" name with M!!! wtf?!?! if u look down, u'll notice that H and M are pretty far ffrom each other on the keyboard... how they made this mistake, and KEEP making this mistake, i know not. i'm just glad my name isn't uber long... wonder how much they fuck up the other names... Oh, and it's uber cool to see non-chinese ppl at the consulate. and OMG! this one guy, spoke fluent mandarin!! um, he was white, hence my amazement. it was fluent, but it was heavily accented... regardless, it was FLUENT! sooooooooooooo cool!!!

- going to california. i think i already said that, right? maybe not. whatever.

- i keep getting lost at msb...

- walking with sandals hurts.

- shopping ROCKS! i've completely maxed out my credit card this month... bought so much stuff...

(everything i just typed just got lost... wtf?!?!?)

- getting used to living on my own now. it's not that bad. don't hafta report back at a certain hour everyday (for dinner), so it's nice. and cooking is really not bad... cuz one person (me), eats like next to nothing. then again, it's really crappy cooking for one person... and my paranoia is subsiding.

- finally got insurance car pic taken. this is how stupid my car insurance lady is: she told my dad to get the pic taken at the Speedy auto glass at Lawrence/warden. apparently, that's the closest one to my house. fine. so, i drive along lawrence >5 times, looking for this "speedy auto glass", and low and behold, it ain't there! however, there is a speedy, so i assumed that's what she meant. I finally get there, and the guy said that they don't take pics here... and that the speedy autoglass used to be 4 doors down, but they haven't been there for a couple of years now! wow. apparently, it moved to kennedy and smt (he didn't know where exactly). so i go home, thank god i did! ... the next day, i decided to CALL the one on kennedy - i'm a smart cookie. apparently, they don't take pictures anymore!!! so, the lady on the phone (super nice) gave me the phone number for the "point check" or whatever it's called thing, and i call them, and give them my postal code, and guess where they tell me to go? a garage about a 3 minute drive from my house!! or a 20 minute walk (and i walk slow!!!)!!! conclusion: car insurance lady: stupid dumbass!!!!!

- anyways, back to today. today was a great day. i didn't buy anything, for once!!! annie and i have gone shopping too many times lately! :P it's all good tho. anyways, i went to lab, didn't do much. but wuying had a new idea for me to do (btw, my presentation went crap. PI said not to be discouraged... dunno what to think now, cuz i was NOT discouraged before... i thought i had good news, but apparently, i didn't). anyways, then went to the poster session, and got crappy food, but food nevertheless. saw some posters, none of which were relevant to me. then annie and i hit our heads on the wooden board thing at the same time, then said ow at the same time, and then realized what we did at the same time. hehehee... that was FUNNAY!!! ... anyways, then we went to eaton centre where she bought her mom a mother's day gift. before that tho, we were in Sephora, and she put make up on me. hehehee... she's such a good person to shop with. anyways, i looked good with eye liner. and i'm gonna buy the sparkly purple pen thing later too. ... oh ya, and i was gonna wear a skirt today, but we didn't end up dressing up cuz it was cold and it was supposed to rain. ANYWAYAS. back to my story. after we met up with ade and sleepy, we ate. while eating, ade and i both mentioned that we wanted bangs, so we decided to get them today!! and annie and jh both came with. it was great! so, I GOT BANGS!!! WICKED!!!!! ... seriously, it's the first haircut that i have EVER gotten that i've TRULY been really happy with! and it only cost me $22 all inclusive! it was fucking wicked!!! ... soooooooooooo much better than the stupid WAAAAY too expensive haircut from chewy's ex-spa, and the chika didn't even do a good job!!! gebus!!! ... some ppl... ANYWAYS. ade and i both got bangs, and we both looked really good. we took a bunch of pictures, and annie cut her belated bday "cake"... or roll rather. and then we went home. ... but i went to get gas before i got got home... the stupid pump was giving me so much problems, but it eventually worked... i only got $15 worth cuz gas is so freaking expensive. ... it should last me for awhile tho. ... anyways, when i went to pay, the machine went craazy!! it sounded like one of those lottery "you win" chimes, but it lasted about 5 times longer and sounded different. ... anyways, apparently, i won! ... he kept on saying "you won!!" ... and i was like "GREEAT! what did i win?!?!?!"... and he just kept on saying "you won!!'... anyways, we FINALLY Figured out that i won a whole 6500 petro points!!! hahahhaaaa! but that'spretty damn good, cuz that's like $6.50 of free groceries at no frills or loblaws! woohoo.

my hair is soooooooooooooooooooooooo nice!!! i need to buy hair wax. um, what's hair waax??? anyone?? and how much does it cost? i dun need much....
