after a long night, i woke up and went to yaya's hospital again. this time the cab took a lot less time. (i went to mail postcards in the morning first. and bought some food on the way too ... random tasks i had to do) ... anyway, my cousin bought him some more cake the day before... i specified CHOCOLATE cake, but noooo... it was not chocolate cake. outside had some chocolate, but it wasn't chocolate cake... i ate some cake for brekkie, and my grandpa kept on saying he was gonna die. (everytime he gets a littl ebit uncomfortable, that's what he says. ithink he had too much cake the day before... too much cream, therefore tummy upset) ... so ya... then he went to sleep and i left for my JJ's workplace. ...

and that's where i updated some of my blog before but didn't get to finish cuz soon, we went out for some more MaLaTang. mmm... so freakishly yummy. she also yelled at some clients and wasn't in such a good mood that day, but she's still uber nice with me, her meimei. .... then we went back to the office, where i updated some more, and then we left for this restaurant that her firend opened. we drove there, and she has her own specific parking spot, it's so funny. hehehee.... so ya, we had dinner. the restaurant owner is this super buff guy that works out all the time, but is really cocky. but then, her other friend named "lao gai" (shanghainese... to me, it sounds like "old scab"... but it has something to do with his dad being a cop, i dunno...)... history: 4 yrs ago, LG was pretty much my JJ's chauffeur. he was actually the Shanghai Daewoo biggest dude's chauffeur, but can take the car anywhere he wants to go. hhehehee... he gave me a bracelet last time, and i thought he liked me, but anyway. we three also went to the JinMao tower together, and he was really nice. ... so, he came to dinner too. he's getting married, but i don't think he really wants to... cuz he kept on complaning about his gf/fiance. ... it was rather weird.... also at dinner was ChenLei and her husband (CL is my JJ's personal assistant - she's so uber nice, i love her. and she's also a leehom fan. hehehee... i connect really well with LH fans. hehehee... too many initials) ... anyways, so CL's husband at one point said smt like "if u wanna learn english, peel more XiaoLongXia for mimi!!!" to LG.... hehehee... too bad, he doesn't fit criteria one: must speak english without an accent. AHAHAHAA! and he's whiter than me. which is a nono as well. which makes pretty much every single guy in china a nono for me. oh no! what if leehom is whiter than me?!?! heheheee... :P

ANYWAYS. after dinner, LG helped my JJ back her car out. he's a really really good driver, apparently. supposedly, the best driver than my JJ knows (all her friends drive) - which is a lot to say cuz shanghainese drivers are all really "good" drivers... as in, technique-wise, not follow-the-rules-of-the-road-wise cuz onone of them to that. ... so then, my JJ, CL and her hsuband and me all went to KTV near my JJ's place. I was supposed to see Sean that night, but oh well. not going to JingQiu (where his parents live) means not being eaten alive by mosquitoes. yay!!! ... so yes, KTV... for like 4 hrs!!! ... but this KTV time wasn't as fun as last time with my friends ... cuz we didn't order as much leehom songs and she didn't like just watching LH MVs, which i do a lot of at KTV ... she's a good singer, and so's CL's husband, so they were always fighting for the mic, while me and CL were both just staring and waiting. .... my JJ should go on the chinese version of American Idol (they have it... 'cept it's called something like "mongolian cow milk's super girl competition". it such a funny name!!!!! haahahahaaaa!!!!!!!!! "mongolian cow milk" is actually a brand of milk that tastes like plastic. yup, that's the one. it's called "meng niu" milk ... heheheee....

anyhow, finally, at like 1:30, we went home... 'cept she thought i was sleeping over and i wasn't, so i had to cab it home...
