rats

wow... internet from my room! this is truly a first, EVER!! i know i know, i'm pathetic... but oh well, wha can u do when u live in a shoe right? :P and no, i can't do up the laces, kat! :P

so, my committeemeeting was today. i was sooooooooooooo nervous u can't even imagine! i swear, i'm gonna piss my pants at my defence. ... anyways, it was good at the end, my PI was very supportive and was like "wow, good job. blah blah blah perseverence blah blah blah come in on the weekend" ... i missed the "blah"s cuz i was too nervous.... and my perseverence comes into play cuz of all my negative data before... i was really dissapointed/sad, but i stuck by my idea and my project, even tho one committee member kept on saying "switch projects, u're gonna fail" .... which of coruse, did wonders for my self-esteem in this new lab, new project, new everything. and it doesn't help that i have no neurosci bkgd what-so-ever. .... he's a joker tho, so it's cool... i emailed him my write up for this meeting, and he responds with a "this is boring". he's a funny guy. oh, so funny.

my rat was crazy today. ade saw 'em. she kept on trying to kick corn cob at ade! they still haven't figured out that no matter how hard they try to dig a hole to hide in, they're only ever gonna get about an inch down in the corn cob before they hit the plastic box that they reside in, that they've resided in for their entire life and where they will forever and ever reside in. poor wittle rats. no, i take that back - they're big. and bite-ful. i like kirk's epileptic fatty little mice... one was like 4g when it was a month old - that's really relaly really small/light and pretty sick, altho a lot better than his other mice. he was soooooooooooooooooooo omg cute!!! i should've taken a picture - greasy mohawk and all.
