happy new year!

Happy new year meeples!!  hehehee... that game, whatever it's call, is actually quite fun when ppl put down their tiles fast!!!  ... if u google meeples, the first site u get is "geeklist" .... are they trying to tell me smt?!?!?  that's okay, i'vfe accepted it... we played board games all night for new year's eve, so i've accepted it.  we drank too tho, so i'm not a TOTAL geek.  :P   and we had oh so nasty winter melon soup too... i don't know how nicky could drink/eat so much... wintermelon soup is not supposed to be spicy, and actually it's not suposed to have tofu or normal mushrooms in it... and totally NOT suposed to have fish balls!  yuck.  i applaud the attempt.  actually, no i don't.  i think it would've been much much much  better if flora had made it, cuz flora's a gooooood chef.  andrew's aunt, not so much.  .... *shudder*

oh ya, and if andrew had picked up his tile, I would've won!!!!  i'm pretty good at that game... altho i think it might be beginner's luck, and the fact that i always pick spots others don't go to... :D  no one fights with me for stuff, hehheee.... and i didn't play settlers.  but i kinda helped andrew and his aunt, who wasn't quite as annoying as usual. ... i still claim championship in settlers.

oh ya, and around 10AM, i watched leehom on LIIIIIVE TV!!!  (china sat... we only have free china sat... ONLY!) ... i was so excited!!!  when i first turned on the TV, that "china idol" (cf. american idol) chika was singing... can i just say, she's so NOT eye-candy!  ya, i'll just be brutal.  she's painful on the eyes.  yup.  ... and her so-called "talent" ... um... WHAT TALENT?!?!  she sings a smiiidgeon better than me, and that is not saying much!  ... so it was a relief when leehom finally came on.  but there was a delay between vid and sound, and leehom can sing without the track (unlike most asia artists), but they kept on playing the track, so i think leehom was pissed at certain points in the show [he looked pissed].  and i still don't get why he had to start "da cheng xiao ai" three times... was the key off?  were the mics fucked up?  ... they were sitting on chairs, four of them.  leehom was third from the left.  on the very right was the chinese dude at his concert, who i think has worked for many other artists before, but it looks like he really loves leehom and supports him and follows him everywhere now.  and on the very left was the brown guy from leehom's concert dvd, i forget his name, but i was thinking "hmm... if i was there with serena or indra... hmmmm" ... riiight.  and then second from the left was the young and hot aussie guitarist whom the taiwanese girls now looooove!  hahhaaaa!  i'm surprised he performed for leehom again, not that it's a bad thing, but i just thought the concert was a one-time deal.  he should stick with leehom tho, it'll be good for him, following such talent.
