Leehom concert aftermath

before i talk about the concert and leehom, i'm gonna talk about me. since it's my blog, i can do that. :P

two things i realized about me/my body:
1) my brain runs on adrenaline. my body doesn't, but my brain does. there was no racing of the heart when we saw leehom (talk about that later). and my body doesn't seem to like being tired... cuz when i'm THAT tired, my body just starts to cut off sensations to the extremities... it's an odd feeling. but anyway, my head's still clear when i'm uber tired, and my speech isn't slurred, and i walk okay... but i have minor problems remembering...
2) i'm extremely sensitive to cigarette smoke. the mohegan sun casino is NOT a smoke-free facility. everyone was smoking, or so it seemed! ppl were walking down the hall and smoking!!! not an image i'm used to now... usually, i only see ppl smoking hundled by the entrance of some place. side effects of smoke in munkee: complete loss of appetite. i had to force myself to eat... and even then, barely anything went down.

munkee's world records:
1) first, it was 5hrs of sleep in 52ish hrs. then, it moved up to 7hrs of sleep in 65ish hours. and now, it's 12hrs of sleep in 82hrs and counting... that's right, TWELVE in EIGHTY-TWO! i didn't thikn that would be possible, considering that i need 10hrs of sleep a night to be semi-coherent... but this is good news! i'll be okay for residency! :D yay! just need lots and lots of tea.
2) this is all i ate on the trip (past the mandarin buffet, which was all digested by 10AM saturday, when we arrived at the casino): 1 small philly cheesesteak sandwich from Johnny Rockets (out of two), about 10 carrot sticks, about 5 cups of tea (little cups), 1 cup of milk, 1 cup of OJ, and an english muffin with jam. the last three items in the list, i ate at the same time. oh ya, and we went to Chili's for dinner cuz we were hungry... and even tho i knew i was hungry, i also knew i couldn't eat that much (omg that's a really really weird feeling!!!).. .i guess i felt sick. so i ordered smt small: a salad (and ate some artichoke/spinich thing too). but what's more pathetic than ordering salad for dinner (i mock those who do that) is that i was only able to force down about an eighth of it! and if u know me, u know that that is just not me - i eat lots, i enjoy eating, i enjoy food, and i never order salad from a restaurant! not for lunch, not for dinner! salad is an appetizer and should be enjoyed as such.

anyway. so that's all.
the general details of the trip:
- bussed to Don Mills, met up with Ade and Michelle, got picked up, left for London, got there at 8:30, saw viv's mom, went to mandarin, saw viv's dad, met jacky, ate food. they had shrimp. it was yum. and roast beef, it was yum too. no sago tho... *sniff* ... went back to Viv's, andrew napped, we watched leehom MVs and sang and made fun of his old low-budget weird storyline MVs... i like the new ones better... changed, left.
- drove down... it was nice weather, gorgeous, cloudless, dark, grreat. passed rochester. hehehee... the girls slept in the back, but i couldn't sleep. i slept for zero minutes in the car, it was horrible. then morning came 'round and i couldn't sleep some more.
- got to the hotel at around 9:45AM, but they had no rooms (check in is actually at 3PM!), so we went to the mohegan sun. andrew was really tired. the girls were fine. i wasn't mentally tired, but my feet KILLED after walking around for like 2 minutes. literally.
- walked around the casino, acquainted ourselves with the layout and all the important stuff. talked to Frank (the security guard; more about that later). went around some more. saw leeho'ms dancers, tried to talk to them but couldn't (they speak mandarin, my mandarin isn't so good for making conversation... grrr... who do i EVER need to make convo with in mandarin? only china ppl, and they know i suck, so it's alll good)... 'k, more about that later too.
- went back to hotel to check in, moved luggage in. showered, changed, made-up, went back to casino. talked to/hung out with frank for oh, 6hrs? saw leehom.
- went to chili's for dinner, ate nothing. went to hotel, tried to take a nap. planned wake up time: 10PM. my wake up time: when i attempted to sleep. i got no rest. so, i changed. then viv put make up on me. then andrew drove us to the casino. he was gonna hang around there while we were in the concert... riight.
- waited and waited and waited for 'em to let us in. hung out with frank some more. tried to get PM show tickets, but to no avail. grrr... lotsa ppl lined up early for 2AM concert. ... went in. concert time.
- after concert, munkee's feet were gonna fall off...
- got back to hotel around 5AM. planned wake up time: 10:15. then it changed to 9:30 cuz ppl wanted to food (i didn't... guess why.). but i ended up waking up first cuz the elephants upstairs were stomping, which woke me up, and then i couldn't get back to sleep cuz i was soooooooooooooo hungry that my stomach hurt... now, THAT, is a horrible horrible feeling. so i got up at 8:30 and went down for food... (didn't have that much tho... honestly, couldn't hold it down).
- went back up, girls went down. me packed. we loaded car, i checked out with elly. back to casino. tried to pick up tickets, so not fun. leehom's cousin was uh... "around" us all the time. he was trying to pick up viv and/or MJ. it was funny.
- got tickets exchanged. second concert wasn't as hype as the first one, leehom cut out a chunk at the end... maybe cuz i wouldn't go lower when i told me too... :P haha! riiight, like i'm gonna be the sole reason that leehom didn't do the lower/higher thing... *bites nails* oh god... i really hope i'm not! all leehom fans at the 2PM show would HATE me!! ... it can't be my fault... no one else was listening either! and at least i wasn't yelling! to me, i thought "lower" just mean voice lower, not body. cuz if i had went lower, i would've taken out the entire row of 'locked-in' seats (not joking! i almost did when i stood ON the chair... getting off was even harder!!!)...
- MJ paged frank, he came up, we thanked him. he kissed us. he talked to andrew (frank's sooooooooooo nice!). "usher" talked to us some more, found out leehom was going to dindin with parents and usher, then he had to "leave early" for smt or other... then we said our goodbyes and left.
- changed in car (that was fun! hahaaa! andrew kept having to cover his eyes!!!). made two U turns to finally get to where we wanted to go. drove back. was able to sleep a bit in the car... i slept when ppl were talking. i was awake when they were sleeping.... snow was bad. andrew drove good. snow was star-treky. rochetser is big. that's all i remember. i was out of it, man! still am.
