guess what, u can post blogs in Hindi now. not that i know hindi, but anyway. ... i think we were always able to blog in chinese. well, chinese worked on my computer, u?

i made my mom tape something this morning that i THOUGHT was gonna be leehom. but it wasn't even the right show! ... weird channel listing! ... 'k, i figured it out... apparently, the same channel has different shows for china version and 'overseas version'. odd... isn't that, like too much trouble?! and funny, how the 'overseas version' has lotsa shows to teach u english, but the china one doesn't... shouldn't u already know english if u're overseas (most of the overseas ppl are in n.america)?? otherwise, can't u just step outside ur door and be exposed to english?! assuming u don't live in chinatown.... so please, MJ or Elly, remind me to ask my mom to record stuff next friday at either 10:12AM or 4:30PM. yes, 10:12. i didn't come up with the number.

so this morning, i had the radio on 680, and they did the traffic and weather reports, and all was great, until as i was JUST approaching Dan/Eg, and had to turn to go to Kennedy stn, they said that the station was closed AND that vic park was closed too!!! ... so i cancelled my signal, and went straight (to warden station), praying that warden was open. i don't like shuttle buses. lucky for me, it was. but it took from that intersection all the way to warden station, and me finding parking, AND actually parking before stupid 680 told me what was going on!!! obviously, 680 is NOT for the commuter!!!!! so much for promoting mass transit on 680. apparently, they re-opened kennedy at 9AM, and re-opened Vic park at 4PM or smt. (MJ: someone was murdered on the train. like, stabbed to death. they discovered the 20yr old's body on the train at 1:30AM, and had to close down the stations for the investigation)

so today, i did writing. that's all. and i did volunteering too. and none of the other volunteers showed up. and one of the students (not volunteers) is really uh... odd. apparently, she swears up a storm all the time, and with the door OPEN so all the patients can hear. and, even tho she's already like 2 mths into the program, she still doesn't feel 'comfortable' screening on her own. that's just crazy. it took all of the other students like a week to get 'comfortable', and then they were all off doing their own thing! ... this one, oh god!! i wonder what kinda report the ladies are gonna give her... she needs work in everything from talking to patients, to talk to co-workers, to talking in general, to respecting others, to PROFESSIONALISM!! ... i mean, sure, u're just a co-op student, but hey, that does not mean u can swear up a storm and act like a baby! *sigh* some ppl... how did they get thru school? how r u they gonna survive in the workplace? we're all nice... wonder what'll happen when she works with not-so-nice ppl.

apparently, leehom's in the US now. *shrug* ... why aren't new yorker's stalking?! ... right, cuz we're cooler than the crazy drop-out-of-school-china-fans. supposedly.

did i ever talk about andy's lau's crazy fan? for my friends who don't know, if i haven't posted before... There's this big star in HK/TW/China named Andy Lau. he must be 45ish now, really old, but he's a good singer and actor (in the movie "infernal affairs", which is the movie 'The departed' ripped off of). anyway. so, there's this crazy fan, who is 28 now, and has liked Andy for 13 yrs. she dropped out of school to focus on "supporting" andy (she lives in hickey-ville, china, really far from HK). her family sold their only house (slash place to live) so that she can "support" andy. her dad was going to sell his KIDNEY to get money, to support his daughter, to "support" andy! ... her room is full of Andy posters. remember, TWENTY EIGHT! ... anyway, a month ago, her entire family went to HK for andy's bday, and she, with the help of the fanclub, got up on stage to take a picture with Andy. that night, her father committed suicide. WHY u ask? basically, he was pissed that Andy lau didn't spend more time with his daughter - only a photo-op and like a minute of talking. that his daughter had spent all this time and effort "supporting" him, and he wouldn't even give her 5 minutes for a one-on-one meeting with him. so, the father killed himself. very worthy. uh huh. ... i feel bad for the mom. but the entire family is NUTS! i hope that this doesn't happen to any other celebrities! ... the father's dying wish was that Andy would meet with his daughter. and his daughter says that if andy doesn't meet with her, then her father would've died in vain. UH HUH. ... Andy Lau is NOT meeting with her. end of story.
