Idiot: 加拿大文吗？ ["Canadian"???]
me: *stare* ... *blink* ... *blink some more* 。。。 真的假的啊？？ [Are you serious??]
Idiot: 干吗？美国不是讲美国文吗？那加拿大是讲美国文吧。。。加拿大没有自己的语言吗？ [What? they speak "American" in the US, don't they? so in Canada, you speak "american" too... Canada doesn't have its own language?]
me: *stare* ... *blink* 。。。 美国是讲英文的。加拿大也一样。 [In the US, they speak English. It's the same in Canada.]
Idiot: 啊？！？ 真的啊？！那英国人说什么话啊？？？ [WHAT?!? Really?! so what do they speak in England???]
me: *stare*
Jiejie: 都是说英文的！！ [They all speak English!!] *changes topic before i beat Idiot up*

ReplyDeleteomg LMAO! i never knew this occurs.. all my relatives just speak to me in like taiwanese.. (well filipino fujianese really..), but i mean when i get introduced i dont get those questions.. hahahhaha that is hilarious.. what do people in england speak
