date with AY

Been planning to meet up with AY for, like, EVER, and it finally happened!!!

First, we went to Burrito Boyz (really yummy burritos!!!)... and b/c there was no seating inside, we went to Tim Horton's to eat it! (i bought a carton of milk, so we weren't reeeeaally loitering...) ... Everytime we go out, it's always so fun cuz we never run out of things to say! we always run out of time (i.e. i've gotta go home) before we run outta stuff to say! we've stayed up 'til 4AM talking, in the dark, while in our own blankets and extremely tired! ... ANYWAY, 2hrs (or more?) later, we moved from Tim's, to MEC... where they ran outta waterbottles... so then we went to Starbucks to talk some more...

We decided to sit on the patio at Starbucks cuz it was a nice afternoon, altho it got really chilly after awhile... and it was smoky at times. about 10minutes after we sit down (or more? no concept of time with AY around), two men in suits sat down near us (the patio was rather small). ... one of the two men looked REALLY familiar.... and i whispered to AY "is that our mayor?!", temporarily forgetting our mayor's name. .... she turned around subtle-y, and then whipped back at me "YAAA! I think it is!!!!", then whipped around to look at Mayor Miller again, at which point the other dude in the suit [his ass't?] laughed at her! hahaaa!

anyway, we didn't talk to the mayor, but lotsa ppl did! ppl would wave at him, and say hi, and just chit-chat with him. he's extremely approachable! but we were still chickenshit, and the thought never really entered our heads. (what would we say?!) .... he asked a cab driver how it was going, a driver passing by honked and waved at him (she was smiling... it wasn't a mean honk-and-wave), and several dog walkers waved at him and said hi! it was really nice to see. but still, AY and I didn't talk to him. .... he even asked a guy in a Raptor's jersey when tip-off was! ... we think he was/is going to the Raptors game. When he left, he walked in the direction of the ACC.

anyway... now i'm home. got home at 9PM... took the bus... :(
