5th Elementt

and thus Summerlicious begins (for me)...

First destination: 5th Elementt.
rating: err... not worth your time/money
Services was crap - made reservations, saw empty tables, and yet still had to wait 10min before being seated. MEANWHILE, others who came in after us were seated immediately! wtf!?!?
Food - appetizers were ok, not spectacular. for Entree, i had the lamb shank - it had zero taste other than the lamb stench. i usually like lamb and like a bit of the lamb stink... but for a tasteless dish, YUCK. AK had the NY strip loin which was a lot better b/c it had taste!!!!!!!! i can't judge beyond that - it was THAT bad. ... dessert was the best thing there that night - tiramisu, and peach/lychee mousse. AK liked the tiramisu that i made with SB better tho. HAHA! ... peach/lychee mousse was alright, esp if u like mousse. Oh, and there was an amuse bouche - meh... not so great. very obvious that it was mass produced. and their drinks sucked too.
Overall - don't be tricked by their awesome sounding menu. their food is mediocre.
