TV shows

My cousin's been moving during the last couple of weeks... his new condo is pretty small, and he and his wife have a lot of STUFF.  So for the past few days, he's been coming back home (to his mom's place) everyday with a duffel-bag full of books and DVDs.  He reads a lot and watches a lot of movies and shows!  We totally have the same interest in movies and shows!  :D  ... not so much in books since i don't read since books are so expensive in Canada.  But his DVDs have provided me with a lot of relief from my constant boredom.

Since i've arrived in Beijing, I've re-watched the first half of the first season of Prison Break, the first two seasons of ER as well as some of the third season, and I've now finished watching all four season of the Sci-fi show "The 4400".  If only the other billion shows i watch regularly were on now - Gossip Girl [which my other cousin's wife watches!], Ugly Betty, CSI, Heroes, Grey's, House, Scrubs.... the list goes on....

Anyway, the point of this blog was to complain about cliffhangers.  Don't you hate it when you pick up an awesome show, and then it ends abruptly??  and even worse, when it ends abruptly with a cliffhanger?!??!  I'm still hanging on to the "Out of This World" cliff when Evie's mom gets transported to the alien planet!!!  that was from grade 6.  and now, "The 4400" has given me another cliff to hang off of!  Why do these channels do this?  why do they not think of the poor viewer who needs some sorta closure???

I NEED CLOSURE, DAMMIT!
