still not learning

I've stilled not learned to save my money instead of wasting it at nasty Beijing restaurants.

Went for Churrasco (aka. Brazalian BBQ) with Mike today.  worst churrasco i've ever had.  this was the 4th time i've had it...

First time - with oldest cousin & ugly bitch (his now ex-wife) in Shanghai... really good!!  that's why i sought it out time and again
Second time - with AK at the Red Violin (Toronto).... the best churrasco!  plus their shrimp was just amazing, and their grilled pineapple with cinnamon was just to die for!!!
Third time - with dad's side's boy cousins in Shanghai, a different place from the first place.... pretty good, but really pricey (for China) - >100yuan/person.
This time - .... ugh!  in Beijing.... and it was pretty bad.  Mike rated it 3 outta 4.  I rate it a 1.5 outta 4.  It doesn't get a 2 cuz its only edible, but most of it was very very meh.  it gets the 1 because they had ostrich meat and venison, both of which were pretty good (no comparisons to anything tho).  it gets the 0.5 because they had pineapple, albeit it came very slowly and i didn't have enough.  then again, no amount of pineapple is ever enough for me.... 68yuan buffet (includes other 'dishes' at the buffet counter, as well as the fruit and dessert counters... but very small collection of foods, and ran outta watermelon, the only other fruit i'll eat in a restaurant [mostly cuz they don't serve mango and lychee in restaurants])

Advice: the only good restaurant in Beijing is the Xinjiang Muslim Restaurant.  Nothing else.  If u like lamb, go there.  If u're not gonna go there, then go to that 四季smt restaurant i mentioned before at HouHai.  Don't risk ur money anywhere else.  (oh, but Peking duck is a must-try)
