I read the "Rape of Nanking" in grade 7 and realized why my grandma hates the Japanese sooooo fucking much.
My grandma cried real tears and almost had a heart attack when she watched a remake of the Nanking massacre.
I watched "Ip Man", the story of Bruce Lee's master. and even though i'm sure it's pretty far from what the man really lived. anyway, that re-ignited my hatred of Japanese soldiers and the whole politics of it (the fact that they still deny it, etc).
