ridiculous

If you know of ANYONE who can beat the following, please let me know:

Twenty-three years old, bilingual, has a first author publication under her belt, making a great salary, has scholarships totalling much much more than the average salary in North america (that's right, even if u convert USD to CDN), received the top award that the COUNTRY has to offer to a student, has two more second author publications coming, graduated probably in the top 5 or 6 in her class of thousands, and yet still not only finds the time to meet up with her bestest friends at the very least every two weeks, but actually plans it ahead of time and sends out numerous emails and messages and makes calls everyday to keep in touch with her buds. Oh, and at the same time being a considerate daughter, granddaughter, and niece, and planning ahead not only for herself and parents, but also for the rest of her extended family. and let's not forget everything else on my resume/CV.

and u know what? perhaps i owe it all to taking life, what i do and how i do it, seriously. Thinking that a joke is stupid however cannot be considered "taking life too seriously". In fact, i would argue that it is a sign of maturity and taste. How many 40 year olds send out penis jokes? how many 15 yr olds??

and yes, Life is short, i agree with you. However a short life is not an excuse to slack off. a short life is also not an excuse to do everything half-assedly. a short life simply means you've gotta do the best u can in the time that u have.

I think i've accomplished a lot for someone my age. and I would think that all my friends would support my hard work, and appreciate/support my growing maturity.
