6 days and counting

i just got reminded, once again, that leehom's concert will be august 12. ... well, i hope sophie goes then... cuz i can't go. ... bah. one article was funny, smt like "girls: leehom will be performing august 12 which gives you enough time to make those "i love you" signs and rest your vocal cords, because there no doubt that they will be shredded after all the screaming at the concert" . ... oh boy. heheee... wonder if u can actually hear him sing over all the screaming girls... cuz that'd suck. i'd rather sick next to the speaker then!!! ... okay maybe not. permanent hearing loss vs. temporary hearing loss but enduring high pitched frequencies... i dunno which is worse... ... *sigh* i guess i won't hafta decide... *sigh* ... disappointment....

my paper was officially published btw. officially! ... and no, i still haven't memorized the reference number... i know it's in neurosci. letters! woohoo! ... i think it's fun to search it in pubmed...

vball was fun. ... and EXTREMELY painful... omg... watch me suffer on the sand, trying to turn. and then kat/care made me laugh and it hurt to laugh!!!!! WAAAAH!! ... after that, sleeping was fun. not relaly. ... i don't hurt anymore, but i hope more pain will come next sunday - cuz pain = exercise, right? anyone?? ... legs didn't tan much tho. ... i went to buy that sparkly 'tanning oil' thing with annie, and no one had it!! where the hell did that slut get it from?! maybe i should ask ben to ask the slut. ...

then monday was the ttc strike, drove up to andrew's. ... CRAZY tgraffic man!!!! ... i had the radio station stuck on 680 (they had traffic reports every 5 minutes), and at one point, Darryl Dawmer (sp?) said "i'm flying over the 404 and finch right now" and i was at around 404/Sheppard, and i saw him!!! well, i saw the chopper, but anyhow... i still thought that was cool. anyways, he was flying over 404/finch cuz southbound, there was a van on fire. so, add that to the list of traffic problems, and it's like UBER problems!!! 404 was solid from 401 (where i got on) 'til McNicoll area, and then completely empty (cuz the fire-van caused all but 1 lane plus the HOV lane to be closed) 'til finch, and then SOLID from Finch 'til Hwy 7-ish, and then really heavy 'til past Elgin mills (i got off there). usually, there are like no cars by Major Mack. well, barely any at least. it was nuts i tell u!!!!

... now i'm doing the second half of a western. and tomorrow, one more lipid raft prep. . ... but during a weekday which means more busy. and then tomorrow night = dinner. and then saturday = coming into lab to collect fractions and solubilizing, and then meeting ester for lunch/hang out. and sunday = vball. monday = running gels and starting western. tuesday = finishing westerns, and then finally going home to PACK!!! which i haven't started yet, nor do i know what suitcase/bag i'm taking. woohoo. at least i have my visa, thank god. ... so much to do, not enough time. or as kamran used to put it "I have so much to do i don't know where to start!" ... riiight.
