woohoo, finally, i'm at TODAY!!!...

woke up at 6:30 to get the car to drive my aunt/uncle to their respective hospitals. it dropped me off at my grandpa's hospital, and i stay about an hour before heading out. he gets really happy when he sees me.

then i hung around by myself for awhile. shanghai by urself, is totally not as fun as SF. ... i was uber bored, uber fast. .... shopping's dumb too. stuff is either too expensive or really really dumb. ... so i went home on the subway, got ripped off (had to pay two fares - wtf?!?!? long story, still mad, therefore dun wanna type), and then finaly got home to my uncle's place. then i came downstairs looking for the internet pub, and totally walked past it twice before i finally saw it! and it's hot out, so i was exhausted when i finallyfound the place. and now i'm here, typihg up my blog. it's taken 2 hrs so far. oh i rock.

btw, i left china when i was 7.
came back when i was 9, and everyone thought i was 16 or 18.
came back when i was 12, and everyone thought i was 18 or 20 or 21.
came back when i was 15, and everyone thought i was 21.
came back when i was 19, and everyone thought i was 21.
Well, at least there was a trtend huh?? munkee always looks older than she really is. fine. Mind u tho, these ppl are chinese, and u would assume that they'd be better at judging a fellow chinese persn's age, then they would at say a caucasian's age. (cuz white ppl get my age wrong all the freaking time)
This time, i'm 23. but every single freaking person i've met, thinks i'm under 18!!!!! ... last time i came back, all strangers call me "shiao jia" ("xiao jie" in pinyin, or "lady" in english)... NOW, all strangers call me "shiao gu niang" ("little girl" in english!)!!!! WTF?!?!?!?!? i don't get it.... maybe it's cuz all of the 20-smt year olds here wear shitloads of make up and i don't... but that's not true either, cuz not all of them are uber vain!!! only cassandra.... ... i really don't get it.
i'm gonna go home soon before i freze to death in this over-air-conditioned and smoky (ppl smoking left right and centre) place.... it costs 3RMB/hr... 3 hrs = 9RMB = $1.29 CDN. hehehee... stuff here is too cheap. it feels like play money.
