i honestly have no idea what i did that day... i just remember it was BOILING hot... 37.7 degrees WITHOUT humidex. i think i wanted to die. ... but i really don't remember what i did that day... hmmm... i'll update again when i remember.

(5 minutes later)...
i remember what we did now...

In the morning, we went to my mom's friend's place. and my JJ's mom was there too. at first i thought i was gonna be uber bored - 3 woman over the age of 55 talking and eating... so i was like "is Tiantian gonna be there?" (my JJ's son) ... but TT wasn't gonna be there, so bah... he had kindergarden to attend. jeez... who cares about kindergarden. oh well... when we finally got there, my JJ called and was like "where are you? i'll take u out today" ... but i was already there, and it was too far for her to pick me up, etc... so we planned to go out the next day. ... anyways, the day wasn't all that bad! this 'friend' was the same one that asked if i got breast implants 4 yrs ago. but she was nicer this time... everyone really likes me for some odd reason, which i'll never understand! :P heheheee... anyways, her husband cooked (he's sooooooooooo kind looking. he looks so funny, like from a cartoon, but he's really nice and really cool!!! and he's gotta great heart. great man). and we ate. the woman talked and talked and talked, and i listned, absorbing their knowledge/experiences. .... seriously. it was kinda fun. i had to go pee like a million times that day too, cuz their tea was really yum, and i had a LOT of the tea.... oh, and the day before, my mom told them everything that i DON"T eat (the list is long), and they went outa nd got stuff that i do eat!! like, specifically for me!!!! ... finally, we left, went home to prepare for the dinner. it's all about the food here.

finally, we left for the stinkin' restaurant for dinner. we WALKED. it was fucking HOT! ... humidity = thru the roof. and i honestly didn't sleep well the night before, so as always when i'm sleepy, i was EXTREMELY GRUMPY. ... that plus the heat made me the least likeable person EVER. ... so finally, we walked and walked and walked through crazy crowded streets, while i pretty much wanted to punch everyone out, we finally go to the stupid restaurant. it was FREEZING in the restaurant. ... dinner was with my mom's two best friends, and other ppl they could gather up from "ShiDa" (where my mom [and me] grew up... basically, the university professor's residence thing)... so the lady from Oregon came too, and kids i didn't know... (by kids i mean my age... i was the oldest, but the youngest was like 6 months younger than me) dinner was okay. i only knew one of the kids, but i talked more to her cousin than her cuz her cousin's doing a masters too, in polymers/chemistry stuyff. she's a smart girl, i like her. the last kid, a guy, was really fat. we didn't talk much, but he's doing a masters in history or smt. pretty cool too.... anbyways, dinner went 'til really really late, and then me, my mom, and lady from oregon (after she complained and complained and bitched and bitched about lotsa stuff... she wasn't well liked at dinner...) went to a "bath house" ... apparently, lotsa rich ppl do this stuff in china. we only went cuz my uncle gave us 3 tickets (worth 68RMB each) for "baths"... 'cept really, all it covered was a SHOWER. ... we got there, and basically, they were like "take off everything, here's a key for a locker" .... so all three of us were like "uhhh... o... k.... NO WAY JOSE!!!!" ... so, we being the conservative canadians/american we were, asked for towels, and changed under the towels. and i thought that would be the end of that. plus i didn't wanna see my mom naked, and she didn't wanna see me naked, so there. ... BUT NO!!! after u take off all ur clothes, u had to go to the shower place, where it was pretty much Individual stalls, but all the stalls were made of glass (see thru glass, not frosted!!!) and only three walls!!!! ... so i let the adults go first, and then took off my towel (no towels/slippers beyond a certain point, it's dumb) and then literally RAN to my stall, and almost slipped and fell. ... so i took the fastest shower (with hair washing) known to human kind (okay, known to me) and ran outta there FAST. ... i just wanted to get outta there. at the end of the red carpet (seriously), they gave me shirt, and underwear, and then there were booths to dry hair, etc. so i blow dried my hair really badly cuz my mom took a really long shower. then we went upstairs, where they had an exercise room, lounge, massage, tvs, live performances, restaurants, etc etc etc... it's basically one big ol' place to spend lots and lots and lots of money. we did none of it. ... it was freezing in there, considering we were just wearing PJs!!! ... and then my throat started hurting, so we left... at like 11PM.

as soon as got outside tho, the sweat came right on back. shower wasted.
