restaurants were rather empty!! wtf?!?! guess everyone else were at
home, with family and stuff... but my mom was out, so we went out,
ladila...
tonite, my mom forced me to go to michelle/lily's place for a "party"
.... grrr... luckily, jenny wasn't there. but everyone else, i.e. all
the other losers were. at least these losers are slightly better than
the other losers... as soon as i walked in, i saw jenny's mom... of
course, everyone's really nice, but it's an act. i don't like them,
and they know it. i don't care. cuz they give me nothing (in terms
of relationships, friendships, support, encouragement, advice, etc etc
etc) anyway. but then they have the audacity to call my mom and ask
her about "my education"... before, it was tops, then it was
university, and once i get into med, it'll be about med. god. can u
tell we don't like u?? i only like lily - she's a very very very
smart cookie! she reminds me of me when i was younger. and jimmy's
sooooooo tall now!! i used to change his goddam diaper!!!! and now
he's 6"2', and like 230lbs-ish!!!!! DIAPERS!!! and one time, i put
on his pull-ups wrong for him, and he cried, and cried and cried, and
no one knew what was wrong, until his mom discovered i put it on
backwards for him... hheheee... how was i supposed to know the stripe
goes on the back?! i never had pull-ups! or disposable diapers for
that matter!!!
jenny's dad was smoking away as usual, INSIDE the house now. the
nerves!!!! and this is in front of kids! i couldn't say anything,
but thank goodness, lily starts to go "ewww" and waves her hand in
front of her nose, so jenny's mom told him to stop and he did.
before, when they used to come over to my place, he would get pissed
if anyone asked him to stop smoking. ... then, he would have to smoke
on the balcony or in the bathroom... and then eventually not smoke,
and then eventually not come over at all. nasty habit. and their dog
Jelly is CRAZY!!! i pet her, she's happy. as soon as i get up, she
goes absolutely nuts barking like crazy!!! i don't get it... i bend
down to play with her again, and sometimes she'll be happy again, and
sometimes she'll be all barky still... wtf?! she's kinda cute tho...
altho she has a bad eye, it's weird...
anyways, guess what game the adults play - cards. but guess which
card game! geez, i thought our "game nights" were geeky... but
Settlers, Screw ur neighbour, Bang!, etc actually require brain power
and therefore are great games to play on a regular basis! what do
they play? Big two!!!!! a.k.a. choi dai deee!!! literally, the
first game i ever learned to play (chinese kids don't learn "fish"),
and they're still playing it! only it's slightly varied (the "big
two" changes to 3, 4, etc as you win more games with ur 'team', and
jokers are wild)... the game that requires soooooooooo little brain
power! the game we used to play at lunch when we were sick of Bridge
and Euchre!!! and yet they play this every single week, and they
fight every single week!!! wow... what a waste of brains... well,
they don't actually have that much to begin with, so whatever. and
michael's sister's husband is apparently studying to be, or is
already, now, a minister/pastor/something. weird... cuz no one else
in that entire house was religious, and then they go off, claim a
room, shut the door, and prayed for like 15min! and all their kids
were forced to do it too.
and btw, a bunch of screaming 8yr olds - so NOT my idea of fun!!!!!!
but it was really nice to see lily again, and to make fun of jimmy.
and to see that frank didn't turn out to be the big loser i thought
he'd be. i hope he keeps it up. and i hope jimmy learns how to speak
english properly (he can speak canto and shanghainese pretty well [a
little shabby on the vocab, but not bad for a 15yr old], and mandarin
really crappily... but his english friggin' SUCKS! and he was born
here!!!!). he's gonna fail or just barely pass his gr.10 english
exam.
