Second paper, accepted! to be published in Epilepsia! impact factor: 3.227! yeepeee! that actually beats Neurosci Lett which has gone down since my publication to just below 2.... I'm second author in the Epilepsia paper tho... but that's okay! my count's goin' up! heheheee.... i wanna rack up at least 10 publications before i'm 30! yikes... 30 is old... :P should be having babies... my dad keeps saying "gimme a grandson to play with!!" .... uh huh... and if one day i come home pregnant, he'd kill me... *sigh*
oh, i wish the title applies to med... but as i haven't gone for interviews yet, that's unlikely. :P

hahaa! ya, i wish it was for med... u'll get a crazy all-capitals email and a crazy phone call if i get into med, so no worries about coming onto my blog to find out!
ReplyDeleteimpact factor is basically how "prestigious" the particular journal is... the higher the number, the better. the best journals have IFs of 30ish. the worst and the new ones start off at 0.000... i was told that anything over a 2 is good. *shrug* dunno...
