Serendipity

u know what's awesome and serendipidous (sp?)? keep reading...

I get off the subway today, walking down University, thinking "lalalaaa" ... then i see the newspaper box, and Halle Berry is on the cover of the Toronto Sun. and i'm thinking:
"oo... kk... i guess there's no other news today!"
but the Sun always has really weird cover pages... wonder what they had after 9/11.... hmmmm... ANYWAY. (btw, there are people milling about on the top of a building i can see from my window... construction workers... they look funny.... cuz they're so small cuz they're far away... and on top of a building...) After a bunch of tangents, back to story. So, after seeing Halle Berry on the cover, i was thinking:
"hmmm... WHEN (not if) leehom comes to the TIFF, i hope they put a pic of Ang Lee on the cover, and i hope leehom is in it. ... and i hope i'm in it too with the HSH girls... i don't mind being in the corner and blurred... and then i can cut it out and frame it"
which led to the thought:
"hmm... i've never been on the cover of a newspaper before... i've been inside, but not on the cover... too bad i convocated with high distinction... cuz the 'distinctions' got their picture on the Star two years ago... and their mommies cut it out and framed it..."
which then led to:
"hmmm... i got that newspaper for free (from school)!! i hope i get the leehom-on-cover newspaper for free too!!!" ...
and as i walked into Sickkids, what were they doing? giving out the Toronto Star for FREEEEEE!! hahahahaaa!

(so, there's an entire SickKids section today. Section G. and in the corner is "Fixing Epilepsy", woohoo!!! what i do!!! wonder if anyone i know is mentioned... *opens newspaper*)
