i didn't do much of anything yesterday... but i DID make my mom listen to XiChuDongFang, and TongHua (Guang Liang), and that L-O-L-O-V-E-Coco song, which i like. :D heheheee...
Anyway, when XCDF started, my mom was like "peking opera"?! and i go on to explain the whole Chinked-out thing, and she's like "ya, i know..." (so, why was she surpised by the peking opera?!) ... anyway... she said that leehom must have a hard time getting fans, cuz Peking opera doesn't sound all that good, and doesn't appeal to the youth... and i think she's right. i mean seriously, Jay Chou SUCKS!!!! and he's still more popular than leehom. I think david tao's a good singer tho - packed house at the ACC!!! so really... and then i told my mom that i think the only ppl who truly understand leehom, his music, and where he's coming from are us, the ABCs and CBCs and the wanna-be-ABCs and -CBCs (that's me!)!! ... and she agreed... and said smt like "that's an even smaller population" ... my mom knows surprisingly much about the chinese pop scene... *eyebrow raised*

oh, and i told my mom that Takeshi's gonna be ZhuGeLiang in the movie, and she laughed too!! HAHAHA! so, i'm not the only one! and then i told her that Tony Leung was gonna be ZhouYu, and she was like "that fits... but Takeshi as zhugeliang?!?!?" .... heheheee...
