Absurdity

First, Heath Ledger dies.... one of only a handful of truly talented actors. He was not only good looking (which bought him many points), but apparently a down-to-earth and hard working man! so wtf. I don't know if all of these speculations about [illegal] drug ODs are true... if they were, i'd have much less respect for him. but regardless, it's a great loss to the movie industry, for his ex-wife and 2-year-old daughter, and for fans around the world.

and then today, what do i learn when watching the news?? apprently, there's physiotherapy now for, get this, DOGS!! what. the. fuck. Do people realize that there are real PEOPLE out there, hard working people, who were injured through no fault of their own, but who can NOT afford physiotherapy and will therefore have a MUCH reduced lifespan that will be unbearably painful and difficult??!?! and you're paying thousands of dollars for PT for a freaking DOG?! i don't give a fuck how 'cute' the dog is. unless it's a seeing-eye dog, a seizure-detecting dog, or some other dog that serves a USEFUL purpose to humanity (other than companionship - get another goddam dog), then i see no point wasting shitloads of money for PT for it. .... To Rich people around the world: think about what you have, and then look at what others down the street, down the subway line, down the flight path, do NOT have ... others who have worked just as hard, or even perhaps HARDER than you have but can't get out of the gutter they're stuck in because they weren't born into the right family, in the right country, or at the right time. Stop being such dickheads and do something meaningful with your hard-earned cash!!

and yes, i have absolutely no love for animals. animals belong in the WILD. if you think animals have just as much rights as humans, then maybe you should re-consider your entire philosophy on all pets. hint: dogs were BRED to be complacent, BRED to be all white, BRED to have blue eyes.
