Blogs.... *sigh*

I've got two rants today (man, i'm beginning to sound like Dr. Mintz! ... he's our resp prof, and he always has this "rant of the day" thing, which aren't very funny.... well, we laugh AT him, not with him... anyway):

Firstly, u can really tell someone's personality from the way they write their blog. ... case and point: vanness wu. his blog is somewhere on alivenotdead.com, which is a website i frequent cuz Elly and Daniel Wu's blogs are there, and i like DW (and elly of course!). So, b/c of MJ, i found Vanness' blog, and stupidly read it. basically, i don't like Vanness at all anymore, not that i liked him much before that. He is SUCH a rotten-banana-wanna-be!!!! his blogs are full of needless profanities (and if u know me, u'll know i have no problems with profanities and blasphemistic remarks), and his writing style is, well... it's the "shitz". he's really strange.
I didn't think DW was very classy either, but he's a hell of a lot more classy than Vaness! ... i dunno... i guess that style of writing appeals to Vanness, the hiphop artist-wanna-be, and his fans. or maybe his fans don't actually have any clue how ghetto he's being cuz they can only read the Chinese translated post. *shrug*
(add-on: I wish Leehom had a blog... i'm sure it'd be nicely written [as are all of his posted writings], and classy. ... maybe it's cuz the hiphop culture doesn't appeal to me, and b/c of where i am now - in life and career - that i don't like the "vaness" style of writing. BLEH.)

Rant 2: ... apparently, some photographer named JC from hong kong died. apparently, he's hpotographed some famous famous people. He was 34, and died of stomach cancer. aww, pity. but get this: he/his ppl are selling his photobook for >$125USD, and the proceeds go where?? to "his family"!!! riiight... cuz i'm SURE that this honest, hard-working photographer's family is in dire straits now. .... how about donating the money to more worthy causes, like stomach cancer research? pediatric care? global warming, even?!!?!!! ... Fine, donate it to the family, it's fine cuz it's his work that's being sold. BUT, does DW really hafta advertise it on his blog?! there are SO many other people that die meaningless deaths, people who were completely clean, completely innocent, who were younger than JC, and died of leukemia, hepatitis, and a myriad of other diseases that were brought on by nothing and could've been cured if caught earlier, or is so prevalent that research money is desperately needed for it. ARGH! selffish people....
