forgery...

I'm in Beijing now.... and since OHCN kinda know me now, i decided to use google.cn to google my name and see if i find anything... the answer is definitely YES for my full name (the entire first page is me, same as in canada) ... but then when i googled just my first & last name, only one hit is mine - the second one.  The first one leads me to this strange (aka. stupid) website.  It cites ME for all these papers that have nothing to do neuro, like bile acids, anal cancer, and even an article in JAMA!!!  wtf?!?!?!  but the strangest thing is, altho i only searched for first+last name, the site cites my FULL name!!!!!  did they search out random Asian ppl and put their names on random papers???  what's the point of this website??  is it to fake publications??  i don't understand why my name is in brackets on random papers!!!!!

PS. i got second row.  The beijing person saved the seat for me.  But its on the side... we'll see how "on the side" it is tonite.  and apparently first row is all 公安... i actually have no clue what that means... police?  CPC ppl??  i'm thinking police, but like, will they be sitting to keep the peace?  and why do THEY get first row??  i just hope they're sitting and not waving banners and plastic tubeys cuz then i won't be able to see.... :(  i'm also gonna try to sneak my camera in.  *sigh*  I also got a free poster.... but it got smooshed by the time i got ONTO the subway!  i dunno how i smooshed it... hmmm... we'll try to see if i can buy a roll-y thing today.... i doubt it.  :P

PPS. I have accepted the following fact: Beijing and Shanghai are the same in crappiness.  Yes its true.  The ONLY differences between the two cities are: Beijingners are cheapskates when it comes to A/C, Beijing subway is HORRIBLY designed, and I'm super duper spoiled in Shanghai.  If i wasn't so spoiled in Shanghai, i think i'd like Beijing better - more to do.  Or, if i was more spoiled in Beijing (i.e. relatives had muchos money), I would like Beijing better too cuz there's more to do AND i'd get rides in A/C-ed cars and wouldn't need to take non-A/C-ed buses/subways!!
