Two more hours and i'll be headed to the Beijing airport to head back to Toronto!!  :D  From which i will be leaving again about 5hrs after i land... this time, for Paris!!  :)  yeepeee!!!!

Final thoughts on China:
It's a developing country.  As non-PC as that sounds, it's the best description of China.  From its cities down to its people, everything and everyone still needs "development".  It's gonna take longer than my lifetime to fully transform China into a developed nation, but i hope it'll eventually get there.  If you move here right now from a developed nation and live like a commoner, you will hate China and everything and everyone in it.  But if you have tons of money, you'll love it here - everything is so cheap, including people (i.e. labour).  Just make sure you have a chauffeur to drive u everywhere cuz u don't wanna mess with the Chinese citizens (if u look Chinese).

Final thoughts on Chinese people:
They ... or i guess we??... are a selfish breed.  At least the ones you encounter on an everyday basis.  I'd like to think that it was the cultural revolution that caused this - they had nothing back then, or if they did, it was violently taken away from them, causing them to hoard what they can when they can .  It's everyone for themselves here and it's horrible to be in a society like this.  (of course, if u're white, you'll receive the utmost respect)  I'd like to think that traditional Chinese culture is/was not traditionally like this.  that's what i hope.  *sigh* ...

anyway, off to Paris now/soon!  (must pack!)
