Favourite TV show = HIMYM... it's also the only DVD box set(s) i've ever bought for a series. 

Re-watching it from season 1, i don't think ESL speakers will get all the nuances in the show.... which led me to think: Do you think Leehom watches it?  Do you think Leehom likes it?  ... i don't know how my thoughts skipped to that...

In other news...
an MD introduced me an RN today, in passing, in the hallway.  For whatever reason, he told her that i speak Mandarin.  She didn't believe him, aggressively shouting that out to both the MD and me.  She then turned to me and said "你好吗" (how r u, 'ni hao ma').  I was thinking "what the fuck?!?!?!  seriously, who the hell says that?!?" - i didn't even know how to respond!!!!  So i said "好" (good, 'hao').  She looked at me flabbergasted!  "HOW do you speak Mandarin," she asked "Your English is so good!  How do you speak Mandarin!!!" ... i didn't know what to say.... like, really????  Is she new here????  wtf?!?!?!?!  I said two words to her - "Hi" and "好".  she's kinda stupid, kinda very stupid.
