well, i think we've established that i'm obsessed. yup. and everyone else who's obsessed also knows that leehom's dad is a pediatric neurologist. but do u know what he specializes in?? GUESS! hahahahaa!!! EPILEPSY!!!! the most difficult/convoluted neurological condition to dianose/treat!!! (well, i think so... cuz there are just too many different kinds, most of which are idiopathic, and a lot of which cannot be treated even with surgery. poor kiddies...) so anyway, guess what i do!! and guess where i work!!!! and guess what my PI does!!! whoa! so many interconnecting connections! and dudes and dudettes, i only found out this yesterday, but have been doing epilepsy stuff for 2+ years now! so i'm not stalking!!! shuddup...
*sigh* ... i wonder if any other leehom fans are involved in pediatric epilepsy in any way... Ade's close - pediatric alzheimer's?! okay, just alzheimer's... oh hey, then why does sheena work here? i guess not all research here has to be about kids huh? ... are my down's mice also prone to early alzheimer's? do u know? they're ts65dn or smt like that... i'll check their box/home... they're playing right now... but they were sleeping when i got them, so i felt kinda bad for waking them up. AND my dumbass pregnant mouse, pushed all of her cotton stuff up into the top of the cage!!! am i supposed to give her a new one to tear up now?! doesn't she NEED to make her own labour/delivery unit!??!? i don't get it... i'm not an animal cage changer!!! she's huuuuge now... i think her babies grew a ton last night, cuz she wasn't this big yesterday!!! i guess she's about to blow soon!
so much to do... so don't wanna do any of it.
so, mom's friend at church, she takes in these chinese kids from china, who wanna study here. most of them are just spoiled rich kids who know shit, and don't even end up getting into university, or even college. but this one girl, EVERYONE used to be like "oh, she's so great, she's so smart, she got into Ryerson" ... ('cept we all know ryerson's not a unviersity! hahahaa! j/k to ur ryerson kids out there...)... and so, she did really bad in first yr comp sci at ryerson, had to make up all the courses in second year, then realized that she absolutely sux at school, and decided to change her major to Arts... then ppl were like, oh ya, comp sci is too hard for a girl, to which i respond, BULL FUCKING SHIT! nothing's "too hard" for a girl!! i should've done Eng. Sci just to prove 'em wrong... and people still don't realize that "arts" is the easiest major to do in university! no, she's not in poli sci, or anything that requires any knowledge or critical thinking or just thinking in general, she's just in "arts", but she has no artistic talent!!! i mean, leehom in arts makes perfect sense. even Ester, she's original and artistist!!! but this girl?!?! she's just taking a plethora of random bird courses to graduate from university so she can say she has a univ. degree!! ho hum. ... so, why am i irritated by these ignorant chinese women? cuz my mom used to compare me to her all the time. she's younger than me, but my mom always said that she was so mature, more mature than me (she's 3 yrs younger), and she'll amt to more than me cuz she's soooooooooooo omfg smart. when i got into univ, my mom thought, "oh, university's so easy to get into, and scholarships are so easy to come by, so tingting will get in and get scholarships for sure" .... UH HUH. riiight, cuz Eng. Sci with a $3000 scholarship was "easy"... so that means that every tom dick and joe can get into eng.sci huh?! (honestly tho, it was "easy" to get into eng sci for me, but that's just me and i'm weird... but i'm weird like indra and adelaide and serena and most of my other friends) and i'm SURE that any tom dick or joe can get most of their tuition paid off with scholarships alone! yes, cuz that's how scholarships work here! and hi, does anyone at this stupid church think that I'M smart?! nope! my mom's even told them my GPA (i was soooooooooo pissed!!!). but no, tingting's still better than me. FINALLY though, after all her stupid antics and "sleepovers" in Buffalo with her bf, my mom and the lady who took her in finally realize that she's not all they "anticipated", and she's not that smart, and that there are people smarter than her. ... oh, and they never say Grace is smart either. all these old ignorant chinese women talk about is that Grace's family is fucked up. i don't get how they think, i really don't. my mom is semi-normal, cuz i tell her (after the fact, but i tell her anyway) about university. but most of the ppl, wtf?!?!? 8-gua lo tai po!!!!!
