OMG!
the story of my day:
woke up really really early (okay fine, 6:30, not THAT early), to work on stupid essay. emailed it ade last night, and she said it was good, so i didn't hafta do too much work on it... i still did a bit. i PLANNED on finishing by 7, and sending it off by then, but that didn't happen... i FINALLY emailed it at 7:22AM, and then had time to brush my teeth, and put on clothing. :P ... didn't have time for breakfast, just drank milk and ran out... so hungie...
got to school, annie was in MSB already, went to find her, got tea, went to dumbass seminar.
first talk - okay. everyone was there. incl. brian stewart, 'member him? he looks the same. that ditcher of UTSC. oh well. he's still a hot prof! hahahaaa!!!
second talk - good. i like british accents
third talk - good... and ade's PI laughs like Janice on Friends. and zenya gave me candy.
lunch - helped annie a bit in lab, then RAN to sickkids to put my mice in their playground. .... then went upstairs, and that's when the fun started...
my daily ritual of checking for leehom updates finally paid off! first, i found out that LeeHom is gonna be in XinTianDi in SH for new year's eve, and i'm STILL cursing cuz i will NOT be there, while Ben and Lisa will!! NO FAIR!! AGAIN!!! NO FAIR NO FAIR NO FAIR NO FAIR NO FAIR NO FAIR!!!! grrrr!!! so i emailed steph, and mir, to let them know... but in the process, i found more, even BIGGER NEWS!! LEEHOM'S COMING TO NORTH AMERICA!!! AYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAY1!! AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!! *INSERT HUUUUUUUUGE SMILY FACE* .... and Insert CRAAAAZY hyper sugar-ed and caffeine-ed up girl RUNNING to annie to tell her, while annie stared at her and went "shhh... ppl are looking!!!!"... hahahahhaaaa!!!! ...
oh right, so leehom's gonna have a concert at the Mohegan casino or smt in CT, which is a 890km drive from my house, so 8hrs for me, which i totally don't mind. viv's comin' too, of course! and i'm still trying to convince steph to fly all the way there. :D
so we got soup after i calmed down a bit cuz i got stared at for shrieking. later, Ade came to meet us, and i waited to tell her, cuz we were running late already, and when i talk, i don't eat. ... ade and i have determined that THAT's why we're such slow eaters! not because we actually eat slow, but because we talk and talk and talk!! ... our lunches are always 2 hrs long. and all we eat is soup and two nubbins!!!!!!!!!! ANYWAY, back to story. so, after we eat and get ready to RUN back to MSB, i told Ade. and she was excited too, altho not as spazzed as i was. Annie asked her "are you going", and she was like "of course!" ... and annie was all shocked! she thought that i was the ONLY one this obsessed!!! hahahahaaaa!!!!

fifth talk - OMG! scroll down, read post on bad accent-ridden presentations!! it was sooooooooooo boring!!! sim sim na da! or smt like that... :S hehehee... right, so annie taught me korean during this lecture. i'm horrible. heheheee.... i figured out how to write leeho'ms name. i'm so cool. and i keep writing my own name wrong. this is a recurring trend, in both chinese and korean!!! well, it's just bad in chinese, not wrong. that'd be pathetic.
ANYWAYS! so after the fifth talk FINALLY friggin' ended (it went waaaaaaaaay overtime), i RAN back to McM to take my poor mice out of their playground for fear of them DYING of dehydration... poor mices... yes, miceS, with that 's'. they're so cute.... they don't bite me!! that's so cute!!! hahahaaaa!!! then i went upstairs, and low and behold, there was no one in the lab! it was 3:45. there's never anyone in my lab. i'm almost always the ONLY person here. slackers. ... at least dr.snead acknowledges my hard work... i'd be really really really sad if he didn't. i need validation dammit! ANYWAYS... and ever since then, i've been looking up leehom stuff. his forum on the US/CDN fanclub site is soooooooooooo active, it's great! and everyone speaks English on it. GOOD english. not stupid fifth talk type of english. and by "speaks" i mean "writes/types" on the forum. :P ... so yes, leehom is coming. and they're planning a west coast concert for 2007 too. he said he'll come to Canada, but i dun think he will since he's already having one in CT. altho if he keeps his "promise" (or statement in passing...), he probably will come to casino Niagara or Rama cuz the ACC would be waaaay too big for an Asian concert here... OR, go to some other casino near vancity, which i don't mind either, cuz ester's there and i can go visit ester. i just hope none of the concerts are during med interview weekends!!!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHH! so excited!!! ...
but i'm still cursing about the SH thing.
the rest of the details of my day is boring. i have a headache from reading from the comp screen for so long.
Ade, we need to PLAN! and make some "TORONTO" lit up signs!!!! tho i think there will be LOTS of "Toronto" signs....
haha planning for hte concert.. i'm on it! we'll have to make a very nice sign to rep TOronto and CBCs! (even though you're not the Canadian kind.. haha)
