back from Vegas (and SF)

Exam was on Dec 21.... when it ended, i attempted to pick up the UT meds shirts, since i had a flight to catch. .... finally, met michelle, gave back metropass, rushed home, packed, and left for airport.... waited for Viv, boarded plane, got to Vegas. ... didn't do much, other than admin stuff and concert stuff in Vegas. yes, quite boring. then went to SF, same thing. i love being admin and the countless daily emails, but being admin at the concert kidna sucks cuz we don't get to enjoy the whole experience.... :( oh well.

Vegas concert was great.
SF concert sucked ass. mosh pit. i'm bruised. i hate moshing. i hate stupid leehom fans. i was fucking pissed. oh well.

Went back to Vegas after SF. and met up with andrew.
Vegas is... well, it's nice to go there ONCE, to say u've been there. but man, what a fake, overly-done, completely indulgent city!!!! there's not one 'genuine' thing in Vegas! ... so, the Bellagio fountains were nice, and the Wynn buffet was absolutely AMAZING, but those are the only things that i enjoyed in Vegas. I lost a lot of weight on this trip, surprisingly, with all the buffets.

Everywhere u go in vegas, there are these nasty men wearing shirts that say "Girls direct to you in 20min" and handing out little cards with naked women on it! even holding hands with andrew didn't stop them from reaching ACROSS me to try to give a card to andrew! .... fine, they're just doing their job, but i saw them reach across wives to reach husbands who were carrying their children on their shoulders! WTF!!!! .... and at one point, some other people were handing out fake $1-million bills on the stret but no one woud take it cuz we were all too used to the porn thing and ignoring them. so the poor guys resorted to saying "it's not porn! take it! it's not porno!" .... fucking ridiculous.

oh ya, and the ever present billboards with naked women, and "newspaper boxes" with free porn, and the car-billboards with half-naked women really didn't help matters either. Everywhere i looked, i was disgusted. Not because of the porn, but because there were CHILDREN all around. what mother in their right minds would bring their children to this god forsaken town?!?! ugh! disgusting!!!!

Vegas would be an awesome place to have a bachelor or bachelorette party, or if u REALLY REALLY like to gamble, but other than that - avoid it!! it's a waste of money and time. especially if u're not into porn, prostitutes, smoking, gambling, and all around lead a sinful life.

again, the fountains at Bellagio were nice. yeeepeee.

and btw, Imperial Palace is the shittiest hotel ever. Don't stay there. Sure Bellagio, Wynn, and Caesar's are expensive. but hell, IP is an absolutel hell-hole on the Strip. stay at the MGM. it's nice there.

We were able to watch one Cirque show - Zumanity. ONLY cuz all of the other ones were completely sold out!!!! (lesson: plan ahead!!) .... ZUmanity was funny at times, but basically, all of the women were topless almost all the time. and their descriptino is quite accurate: "the sensual side of Cirque du Soleil". i didn't like it. neither did Andrew. again, great for a bachelor/bachelorette party, but so not cool. Kooza was a BILLION times better.

so, all in all, Vegas sucked. and i couldn't wait to come home from it.
